Lucknow: In view of the Honourable Prime Minister’s proposed visit on December 25, 2025, for the inauguration of the Rashtr Prerna Sthal and his scheduled district tour, a high-level review meeting was convened at the Parijat Auditorium of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). The meeting aimed to ensure seamless, secure and well-coordinated execution of the programme.

The review session was chaired by Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, with the presence of Lucknow Police Commissioner Amrendra Sengar, IG Tarun Gaba, District Magistrates of Lucknow, Lakhimpur, Hardoi, Sitapur and Barabanki, LDA Vice-Chairperson, Municipal Commissioner, and other senior officials.

A comprehensive department-wise review of administrative, security, traffic, transport, public amenities and communication arrangements was undertaken. The District Magistrate of Lucknow opened the session with a detailed presentation on the overall preparations.

1. Transport & Beneficiary Management

A thorough assessment was conducted regarding the availability of UPSRTC and other transport resources for the arrival and departure of programme participants. The Police Commissioner directed all districts to provide complete details—including the number of allocated buses, supervisors, nodal officers and route plans—by December 15, 2025.

District administrations and police officials have been tasked with crowd management, identifying parking zones, and planning route diversions. It was also instructed that buses be colour-coded district-wise for smoother coordination.

2. Security Measures

IG Tarun Gaba directed the police and intelligence units to prepare an extensive security plan covering the venue, approach routes, parking areas and high-footfall zones. Emphasis was laid on ensuring adequate deployment of police personnel, establishing a central control room and strengthening emergency response systems.

3. Beneficiary Facilities

The District Magistrate of Lucknow instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted supply of refreshments and drinking water for all beneficiaries as per prescribed standards. Officers were told to ensure there is no delay in obtaining bank details from bus in-charges.

4. Communication & Coordination

The Police Commissioner announced that district-wise dedicated WhatsApp groups will be created to maintain real-time communication between transport teams, nodal officers and beneficiaries. All districts must submit updated details of nodal officers and bus in-charges in the prescribed format within the stipulated timeline.

5. On-Ground Arrangements at the Venue

The Divisional Commissioner issued directives to departments including PWD, Municipal Corporation, Health Department and others to ensure timely completion of arrangements related to:

  • Stage setup
  • Seating plans
  • Entry and exit points
  • Signage
  • Drinking water facilities
  • Toilets
  • Medical units
  • Fire safety

He further instructed that all construction-related and temporary arrangements must be completed on time and according to prescribed standards. All department heads must submit daily progress reports through the Chief Development Officer, Lucknow.

The Divisional Commissioner emphasised that the programme is of great significance and pride for the state, and therefore, all departments must work in close coordination with a strong sense of responsibility and adherence to high administrative standards.
